Now the City of Courtenay and the Rotary Club of Strathcona Sunrise have officially opened the playground at a ribbon-cutting event on Thursday, Aug. 30.

About Ecole Puntledge Park Opened in 1964 as a four-room school to serve the growing population in North-West Courtenay. The school continued to grow and additions were completed in the following years. The school now houses French Immersion programs for elementary students.
